The 1×1 white and transparent GIF pixel were the cornerstone of all web designers of the 90’s and beginning of 00’s until CSS made tables obsolete for page layout. They were then mostly used for tracking websites and emails for advertising tracking and stats but you’ll be remembered forever. RIP until we’ll bring you back for another reason, as the smallest and lightest digital element of your time, you also became the smallest and lightest digital art ever.
